Waiting for Dad

Javy, December 24, 2014

Yesterday when our dad arrived, Teo, Mom, and I went to the airport on a bus to go and wait for him.  The bus driver was speeding and it scared me.  We almost hit a motorcycle.  Then we got off and walked into the airport and explored.  There were three floors.   On the first floor, there were chairs where you could sit, and a McDonalds.  On the second floor, there was nothing much except a place where you could get a souvenir.  And then on the top floor, there were bathrooms and big pots of plants and there was a very, very, very big place where you could watch out for the the planes that landed.

We waited one hour.  During that time, we read a book and we watched out for Dad's plane.  There was a bunch of other people that were waiting for the same plane.  Finally, we saw it coming down.  We were very happy and everyone started clapping and cheering.

Then we waited on the first floor while Dad was going through immigration.  It took a very long time.  When we saw him come out, we were thrilled to see him safely here.  We hugged him and loved him!

Feliz Navidad!  I hope you have a good Christmas and a good Chanukah!
